Strengthen Your Mental Game (Part 2)
Improve Your Obedience Training and Ring Performance
Wednesday, June 21, 2017
1:00 – 3:30 pm
While this is Part 2, this can easily be a stand alone program. Everyone is invited to participate.
Jeannine Rash, multi-OTCH trainer, realized early in her obedience career that it isn’t all about the dog. She routinely relies on mental development opportunities to fine-tune her training and ring performance.
PDTA invites you to a 2.5 hour event for listening (CD) and discussing Brian Tracy’s, The New Psychology of Achievement. He is considered one of the world’s leading experts in the personal development industry.
- Develop a rock-solid self-concept based on the latest research in Positive Psychology
- Get on the fast track to achieve your goals faster than you ever dreamed possible
- Discover how to set “flex” goals which are adaptable
- Eliminate time and productivity wasters
- Master a foolproof 12-point formula that quadruples productivity
- Learn how to nurture your most important relationships
Jeannine will discuss how to utilize these techniques to become a better dog trainer. It’s also going to make for great conversation! This seminar is suited to everyone. If you are disappointed in your progress or lack self-esteem for training and showing, this activity is essential for your future success.
Date/Time: Wednesday, June 21 from 1:00 – 3:30 pm. After the event, you are welcome to use the building to train. Doors will open at 12:30 pm for setting-up as the event will begin promptly at 1 pm.
Dogs: Well-behaved QUIET dogs are allowed to attend. It is critical for all students that dogs are kept quiet.
Bring a notebook, pen and an open mind. Bottled water and light snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own snacks or enough to share.
Fee: Jeannine is asking for a $15 donation towards the building and snacks. If you already attended part 1, you are invited back to finish up the program.
Registration: While drop-ins are welcome, if you plan to attend please register so there are enough chairs and snacks. To register, email Rebecca Elliott at dogsrfun4rae@gmail.com
Open Training Night
Every Wednesday night PDTA has open training night from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. Come use the building with as many dogs as you want for only $10 per handler. Rings are shared amongst all handlers.
Please clean up after your dogs and remember to put away any shared equipment.
