A New Puppy and Foundation Class – Register Today

Jeannine Rash is teaching a new puppy and foundations class. The class will be held each Thursday at 10 am and begins May 3.

Learn Jeannine’s finely tuned solid foundation method to jump-start your puppy into a rewarding obedience journey. Jeannine builds excitement into each exercise that carries into many years of showing. Come learn how to teach your puppy to enjoy working through utility, attention and body awareness.

This class is perfect for puppies and is also an excellent opportunity for handlers wanting a stronger competition obedience foundation. No prior knowledge is required however this class is geared for competition obedience.

The course includes getting and holding attention, heads up heeling, proper positions for Utility signals–kickback stand, crouch down, pop up sit, backing up in each position, tricks, wait with attention, beginner jumping, go outs, tuck sit, hind end awareness exercises, beginning retrieve, lateral movement, quick heads up getting into position and more.

Jeannine is currently working on her 6th OTCH and won the 2017 Classic, Novice level. Her training experience includes all breeds from a 3-pound Chihuahua to a 150-pound Bouvier.

Papillonia Dog Training Academy (PDTA) is a large 2-ring facility, fully air-conditioned/heated with climate controlled indoor bathrooms located on acres of open walking space.

Students select PDTA, regardless of driving distance, because of Jeannine training experience, knowledge and style and the friendly and supportive training environment.
