Deb Sangrey is registering students for the next session of Canine Good Citizen Class, Basic Obedience and Freestyle. Details are below. To register and for additional information, contact Deb Sangrey, deb.sangrey@comcast.net

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Join us to learn more about the canine sport of musical freestyle. Freestyle is the sport that allows you and your dog to develop a routine to music that showcases the team’s strengths and skill preferences. Information will be provided on the World Canine Freestyle Organization.

This class will provide instruction on relationship games and basic freestyle moves. It will provide instruction for beginners to more advanced teams. This class will teach the basics to begin training for this sport as well as putting together a routine.

The class exercises are designed to build drive, attention, animation, and fun into all moves. It will teach the handler to recognize and focus on the dog’s strengths and how to build on them.

It is also a class that is designed to identify and solve unwanted dog behaviors. Because freestyle is designed to uniquely build competition routines, it is an excellent training tool to overcome dog behaviors such as shyness, barking, fear, and self-control.

Tonight’s class, Feb 20th, is canceled.

Monday (2/12) Proofing Class begins at 11:30 am.

Tuesday Night Class (2/13) begins at 6:30 pm.

Wednesday Puppy class (2/14) will be a puppy training opportunity. No instructor. Please leave $5 in the container by the front door.

Wednesday Night Open Ring Night (2/14) begins at 6:30 pm.

Thursday Day Class (2/15) begins at 11:30

All classes, rentals and lessons are canceled until Monday, Feb 12th. Please do not access the building and parking lot as it is a sheet of ice.

Hopefully the warm weather and rain forecast for this weekend will get rid of the worst of it.

No classes tomorrow (Thursday, Feb 8) because the parking lot is a sheet of ice. Please do not attempt access to the parking lot or the building.

Because of the current weather conditions, the building is closed today (Wed, Feb 7, 2018). All classes, practices and open ring night are canceled.

Because the driveway is a sheet of ice all scheduled events, including classes, are canceled for Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

Jeannine is unable to use her upcoming runs at Positive Dogs (Washington, NJ) this coming Saturday.
