Wednesday, August 15, is the last chance to train in the building before the weekend trials. To help everyone get ready, Open Ring Night will have extended hours THIS WEEK ONLY. Also the mirrors are covered.
5:00 – 9:00 pm Come use the building with as many dogs as you want for $10 per handler. Ring space/time is shared with all trainers. Leave payment in the jar.
Reminder: We do not accept aggressive dogs at all at this facility. We recommend you find a dog behaviorist if you are having either dog on dog aggression or dog on people aggression. We need our facility to be a safe place for all dogs to work.

Proofing Class is canceled today. The building will be open for proofing class students who wish to train. Fee is $5 just to help keep on the lights and a/c.
Please help spread the word to other proofing class students.
Because of localized flooding, all classes are canceled tonight and the building is closed to all activity.
Jeannine and Keith are back to their regularly scheduled classes this week.
Jeannine is an avid reader and uses sports psychology to train her mind for better showing and training. She gives her latest read incredibly high marks for dog trainers.

Jeannine’s classes this week, July 10 – 13, are canceled. She is dealing with appointments for Nicky as he is having on-going medical issues from his fight with the groundhog. She is also still recovering from the NOC and her kidney stone.
Monday, July 9th – Proofing Class is still being held. Class begins at 11:30.
If you want to train during your normal class schedule, let Jeannine know (papillonia4@yahoo.com) PRIOR to your normal class time. She will unlock the door and turn on the A/C. If you have a key, let her know you are planning to be in the building. To help off set the cost of electricity/AC, please leave $5 in the money jar.
Jeannine is heading off to the AKC National Obedience Championship (NOC) the end of June so classes will be canceled. Basically Jeannine/Keith Classes and Open Ring Nights are canceled from Monday, June 25 – Friday, July 6, 2018.

Jeannine Rash Small Dog Seminar September 29-30, 2018
Jeannine Rash, multi-OTCH trainer and 2017 AKC Classic Winner, Novice level, is offering her small dog obedience workshop this year. This isn’t a yearly offering so don’t miss your chance.
Many trainers will tell you they can train small dogs however Jeannine trains small dogs every day. She is currently working on her 6th OTCH, all with small dogs. Small dogs are her expertise and her passion. She also has experience with rescues.
In December 2017, Jeannine won the AKC Classic at the Novice level. She and Josie were the only small dog team left standing at any level. She has the experience and the expertise to help you reach your goals.
Jeannine will share expert experience and knowledge to start training you, your puppy or retraining your adult dog. She is a master at explaining tricks of the trade to perfect heeling and other exercises for your advanced dog. Plus she will help with specific problems, while training for speed, animation and precision. This seminar is not a pet-obedience class, rather an intense competition obedience experience. Training areas will include input from the student pre-work paperwork.
Papillonia Dog Training Academy (PDTA) is a fully matted climate-controlled facility with a built-in sound system, ample parking and large indoor bathrooms. Jeannine started this facility to be a friendly environment where handlers and dogs can relax and feel safe to ask questions and learn.
Activities for the Weekend
Friday, Sept 28
4:00 – 6:00 pm Pizza Party and Meet/Greet
Come meet Jeannine and other students, practice in the facility, set-up your crate/chair for the weekend, enjoy food/drink and relax before the weekend begins. Also, you can pick-up your commemorative event t-shirt.
Saturday, Sept 29 and Sunday, Sept 30
9:30 am – 4:30 pm Seminar Hours Saturday: Doors open at 8 am
Sunday: Doors open at 8:30 am
Pricing: $350 for Friday night, Saturday and Sunday events. Food/drinks will be supplied on Friday night and lunches/drinks both Saturday and Sunday.
Equipment: Some equipment will be available for purchase.
