PDTA dislikes raising prices but it is necessary in order to provide a safe and comfortable training environment.
New prices now in effect:
Private Lessons with Jeannine: $90
8-week Classes: $135
Drop-in Class: $25
Private Ring Rental
$20 an hour – one ring (one handler)
$10 each additional handler (same ring)
Because Mother Nature has dropped well over a foot of snow on the area, all classes are canceled and the building is closed tomorrow (Thursday, 3/22/18).
Please do not attempt to access the lower driveway or the building.
PDTA students and open ring enthusiasts – no doubt you are wondering if PDTA will open tomorrow. Not a chance with the current snowfall and the expected totals.
PDTA will remain closed for all activities on Wed, March 21, 2018.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for Thursday.
Tuesday night class (3/20) is canceled and the facility is closed to all activities because of the heavy snow. Please do not attempt access to the lower driveway or building.
Hi Thursday Day Students,
Grab the dog and get to class tomorrow. Class begins at 11:30.
Tomorrow’s (3/7/18) daytime puppy class is canceled because of weather. Papillonia is located within the area predicted to receive 5-10 inches of snow overnight and tomorrow.
Hopefully mother nature will settle down so we can get back to more dog training and less shoveling.
Mother Nature has again hit Papillonia. The driveway is now a sheet of ice with the ice/snow mix that just started a short time ago. Please help spread the word to other students.
Do not attempt access on the driveway/road to the building.
If you are part of the Wednesday Puppy Class, grab your pups and come to class this week. Jeannine will teach!

FREESTYLE CLASS:
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Join us to learn more about the canine sport of musical freestyle. Freestyle is the sport that allows you and your dog to develop a routine to music that showcases the team’s strengths and skill preferences. Information will be provided on the World Canine Freestyle Organization.
This class will provide instruction on relationship games and basic freestyle moves. It will provide instruction for beginners to more advanced teams. This class will teach the basics to begin training for this sport as well as putting together a routine.
The class exercises are designed to build drive, attention, animation, and fun into all moves. It will teach the handler to recognize and focus on the dog’s strengths and how to build on them.
It is also a class that is designed to identify and solve unwanted dog behaviors. Because freestyle is designed to uniquely build competition routines, it is an excellent training tool to overcome dog behaviors such as shyness, barking, fear, and self-control.
